Purpose
The purpose of VMTC Prayer Ministry Schools is to train ministers of Christ who are called to care for people in need of healing for brokenness and bondages caused by crippling relationships or circumstances of their pasts. During the three-day school, the Lord sets His ministers free from their own blocks and bondages. As they share more fully His Victory of the Cross, they can more effectively claim Jesus’ power over sin and Satan in the lives of other people.
This is not psychological counseling training or therapy. Prayer Ministry uses loving, listening, and believing prayer to set people free. The Holy Spirit releases His supernatural gifts of wisdom, knowledge, discernment of spirits, faith, healings, etc. through trained VMTC Prayer Ministers who always minister in pairs (“two in agreement”).
Who Should Attend?
Those who desire to be part of a ministry to others to see restoration through Christ. This includes qualified, stable, mature followers of Jesus who have their pastor's permission, as well as pastors and ordained ministers. Spouses are encouraged to attend. Those attending must be willing to first be healed themselves. This is NOT a “Rehabilitation Center”, but rather a “Training School” for those called by God to help heal others. Trainees must attend at least three schools before being given recognition as VMTC Prayer Ministers.
Who Needs Prayer Ministry?
All of us are victims of the sins of others; whether during childhood, the recent past, or part of the marriage relationship. We also suffer from our own sins, many of which we cannot identify. And, of course, the very real attacks of Satan, especially through past or present occult involvements.
What Is Taught?
Those attending are taught through scripture and practical application how to be the Lord’s chosen instrument for HIS Victorious Ministry to the broken and sin-sick world about us! Continuing Education Credit is available for Clergy (2.1 – 2.5 CEUs).
Preparation
Those attending a School should first receive a VMTC Prayer Ministry Session. If you have not received a prayer ministry session (this is a prerequisite to attending training), you can request one here: VMTC Prayer Session
Attendance and Cost
Attendance at all teaching and training sessions during the three-day school is required in order to receive credit for successful completion.
Registration fee is $300, with a $50 deposit due by June 21, 2026. If you only pay the deposit at this time, the remaining $250 will be due when you arrive at the school. Only Cash and check payments are accepted at the school.
Registration starts at 8:30am on Thursday, July 7, with school starting at 9:00am
Registration and tuition fees cover all school materials, and room and board. Your training for this school will be held at Discover Church 760 S Ham Ln, Lodi, Ca 95242 (lodging will be at various locations in the Lodi area).
Meals begin with lunch on Thursday(including dinners and breakfasts) and conclude with lunch on Saturday.
Registration is limited! We encourage you to register early so we can prepare materials, lodging and meals for each attendee.
