Hello!  We are so glad you are wanting to participate in Sunday Serve!  If you haven't yet heard about our heart for high school students on Sunday, please check out this brief video:

We want each of our high school to students to regularly be serving in some capacity.  We really believe this is going to be a great opportunity to grow in your relationship with God and others through service!  You are a valuable member of our community with gifts and talents that God desires to use in meaningful ways! While it's not always easy, there is no greater joy or honor! Here's how to get involved:

STEP 1:  Read through the brief descriptions of the service opportunies below. 
STEP 2:  For those that seem interesting or where you think your unique gifts and passions would be most useful, click the link to the "Job Desciption and Requirements" and read through what the service commitment and expectations are.  
STEP 3:  Spend some time praying and chatting with your parents/guardians about it.
STEP 4: Fill out the form with your first and second service area selections. 
STEP 5: If you are new or not already connected to the high school ministry, Pastor Holden will reach out to you to get to know you a bit and help get you connected to HighSight, the high school ministry here at LCC. 
STEP 6: The ministry leader who oversees the service opportunity you selected will reach out to you to get to know you and get you plugged into serving.
STEP 7: Keep an eye out for information regarding Sunday Serve celebration lunches and activities. :)

Lil' K
This is our ministry to infants through kindergarteners.  If you love the littles, this is the place for you! From holding babies to leading songs or arts and crafts for kindergarten age children, this is a place to serve and love our youngest church members!

KidZone
This is our ministry to 1st-5th graders where they worship God and learn about God.  This is probably the funnest (yes funnest) ministry at our church.  From worship with hand motions, to silly games, to interactive and object oriented teachings, this ministry to elementary school children is dynamic!

Triumph
This is our ministry to middle school students and is an amazing opportunity to help build relationships and mentor middle schoolers as they navigate the unique time of change and awkwardness that is middle school. This is youth ministry at it's finest: random games/activites, engaging teaching, and meaningful worship times.

Worship Team:
For those with musical/singing abilities, this is an amazing opportunity to grow in your experience in leading with adult worship teams.  You'll be integrated into an adult worship team on Sunday mornings to help facilitate musical worship to our God!

Audio/Lighting Tech:
This is an amazing opportunity to help with the sound and lighting production of our services. Servants in this area will help with sound mixing and livestream audio as well as lighting transitions and cues. A great opportunity to learn about live sound production and lighting.

Video/Livesteam Tech:
This is a great opporunity to learn about live video and livestreaming production and to be useful in providing this service to those that can't join in person.  Servants will operate cameras during services as well as learn the ins and outs of livestreaming production, video switching, etc.

First Impressions/Greeter/Usher:
You know what they say: "you only get one first impression".  This is our greeter ministry at the church that is meant to help people feel welcomed and informed.  From greeting at one of the doors, to helping man an information booth, your job is to help get people connected to our church community.
